Kenyan Food Day Winkleigh Village Hall 11-10-25
We had a good turn out with Kenyan food served at the table and take away on offer. Also we took the opportunity to sell some of our jewellery bags and other items. Thanks once again to our volunteers: Vee, Laura, April, Jacquie, Rob and Maureen. Without you it would not have happened.

Charity Update 13-10-2025
Since the summer, we've been working hard to raise funds and awareness for our upcoming trip to Samburu, Kenya , where we'll be supporting local children through education, community work, and essential resources. Over the past few months we have: Hosted Fundraising Events - including food gathering and artifact sales at friends' parties, where our handmade and collected items have helped generate both funds and interest in our mission. Winkleigh Fair 19/07/2025
Our latest enterprise was to rent a stall at the annual Winkleigh Fair to sell the stock purchased for us by Eva. I say rent, however, thank you to Neil McQuire and the Winkleigh Fair Committee for waiving the £10 charge! Reducing our outgoings means that more money goes to the charity. It was a good outcome despite the slightly inclement weather and our disorganisation while setting up. We've never done this before so we will learn by the experience. In addition to the Kenya

Birthday Fundraiser 01/06/2025
My birthday bash raised £905 from Gofund, £600 from the activities and bingo and £250 in cash - a total of £2355!. Thank you to all who contributed.
